With the grand success of The Handcar Regatta 2008 and the expanding participatory art-scape surrounding Burning Man, we've been energized with a blossoming local community of sub-radar artists and oddball builders taking art toward our own devices and venues.

Recently, Krank-Boom-Clank and Fou Fou Ha! have been actively planning a large-scale project that combines the Fous’ “Buffoon Burlesque” performing technicolor outrageousness with K-B-C’s whimsical engineering design.
Tentatively known as “Cup-Cake Mobile”, we are planning a venture to create a mobile stage platform as a revolving cup-cake carousel. This Cup-Cake Mobile will serve as a mobile stage platform for Fou Fou Ha! and other performance troupes to perform their show upon, while also beckoning participants to join them for a ride on this delicious carousel while stationery on the playa.
It represents an evolution of bicycle-powered transportation created through artistic collaboration, offering performers a place to show their talents while engaging the Playa's population with a chance to smile and play.
